Find out if AI recommends your brand or your competitor.
Botlum is an AI visibility tracker: it asks ChatGPT, Gemini, Google AI Overviews and AI Mode the questions your buyers ask, every day, in every country you sell to. See who gets named, which pages get cited, and what changed.
For a small sales team the usual shortlist is Northwind, Acme CRM and Pipeline Pro. Acme CRM is praised for quick setup and a usable free tier.
For any business whose buyers ask AI first.

Your buyers ask AI first. Here is how you see what it tells them.
Four steps, from your first prompt to the weekly digest in your inbox.
-
Add your questions
The prompts your buyers ask, or ones we suggest from your site. Pick countries and languages.
-
We ask every engine, daily
Each prompt goes to all four engines in each country, the way a real buyer sees it.
-
See who wins, and why
Who is named instead of you, which pages the answers trust, and what moved this week.
-
Act on it
Alerts when you drop out, a weekly digest, and a report you can share with your team.
Answers, not a mystery score.
The starting point for GEO (generative engine optimization): every number links to the answers behind it. Compare engines and countries side by side and see exactly which competitor took your place.
Example data for a fictional brand.
Three things the others don’t show you.
Your page is the source. Someone else gets the name.
Answers often cite your guide and then recommend a competitor. Botlum flags every answer where you are cited but not named. It is the cheapest mention you will ever win, because the content is already there.
Top CRMs for small teams are Northwind, Pipeline Pro and Zento, according to recent comparisons of pricing and integrations.
The same question gets a different answer in Berlin.
Engines localise: other brands, other sources, other languages. Botlum asks from inside each market you sell to and lines the answers up side by side. No per-country add-on, no “US only”.
Popular choices include Northwind, Zento and Acme CRM.
Für kleine Teams eignen sich Northwind und Kundo CRM, beide DSGVO-konform.

AI visibility is how often AI assistants name your brand when people ask them for a recommendation, and which pages they cite as sources. The assistants that matter most are ChatGPT, Gemini and Google’s AI Overviews and AI Mode. Generative engine optimization (GEO) is the work of improving it. Botlum measures it every day, per engine and per country, so you can see where you stand and what changed.
A rank tracker shows where a page sits in a list of links; an AI answer has no list to rank in. It names a few brands, cites a few sources and changes by engine, country and day. Botlum reads those answers and reports whether you are named, in what place, who is named instead and which pages are cited. For the Google engines it also shows your regular Google position.
ChatGPT with web search, Gemini, Google AI Overviews and Google AI Mode. All four are on every plan, in every country.
One question in one country and language, asked every day on every engine. The same question in a second country is a second prompt.
Yes. Put the city in the prompt, the way a buyer would. The prompt still counts as one prompt in that country.
Yes. We collect the answers as each product shows them to a user in the chosen country, with web search and sources. Not a bare model through an API.
An answer that links to your page as a source but recommends a competitor by name. Your content does the work and someone else gets the mention.
Plans start at $19 a month for 15 prompts and go up to $449 for 700. You pay only for prompts: all four engines, every country and unlimited seats come with every plan. A prompt asked in a second country counts as a second prompt. Every plan starts with a 7-day free trial without a card.
Nobody can switch it on, but you can work on what the answers draw from. Engines name the brands that the pages they trust name: your own pages, and the review sites, comparisons and forums they cite. Botlum shows those sources for each of your prompts, where a competitor is named instead of you, and where your page is cited without your name, so you know where to start.
All of them track AI answers; Botlum differs in what every plan includes. Each Botlum plan covers ChatGPT, Gemini, AI Overviews and AI Mode in every country, with unlimited seats, and you pay only per prompt. Some of the others charge extra for engines such as Gemini or AI Mode, or cover one engine per plan or campaign. Botlum also flags ghost citations: answers that cite your page but name a competitor.
Any country, in its language. Each prompt has a market, a country and its language, and Botlum asks it from that country the way a person there would, then reports each country separately. When you add a market, Botlum suggests prompts in the market’s language, and you can write your own in any language.
Seven days on any plan, no card. There is also a free one-off check for any domain right on this page.
Botlum is made for one brand by default: yours. Agencies get a workspace for each client, share links and branded PDF reports on every plan, and the Agency plans add the prompt volume for many brands.
